Dr. Leonela Martinez, originally a California Native, attended Southern California University of Health Sciences to attain her Doctorate in Chiropractic. She recently moved to Arizona about a year and a half ago with her boyfriend and two dogs Monroe and Archie and most recently expanded her fur family with a third dog named Memphis. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, binge watching tv shows, and exploring new places/traveling.
Dr. Martinez found her passion for chiropractic care very early on. Her sister worked in an office alongside medical doctors, massage therapists, and chiropractic providers, allowing her to shadow from time to time. In this setting, Dr. Martinez was able to see first-hand how alternative care met conventional health care. This allowed her to witness the amazing effects of well-rounded care in restoring optimal health and function. She enjoys helping individuals in their journey of health whether it is achieving a pre-injury state, getting back to the activities that once seemed unattainable, co-managing with other providers, and/or maintaining wellness. Dr. Martinez is experienced in seeing/treating individuals from newborns to adults. She also utilizes various adjusting techniques ranging from activator, diversified, drop-table, and pelvic blocking while incorporating additional therapies addressing soft tissue.
